Addition to Club Rules Regarding Behaviour
A verbal warning will be given to any swimmer who's inappropriate behaviour warrants it.This includes behaviour such as
- disrupting lessons, stopping others from swimming
- leaving the poolside without permission (causing staff to have to check on there whereabouts)
Any repeat of the misbehaviour whilst a verbal warning is in force will result in a otal exclusion for two weeks from all club activities, including galas.
Parents Responsibilities
- Please note that children are only our responsibility whilst in pool or on poolside.
- Children should not be left unattended in the Sports Centre.
- Parents of children under eight should remain in the Sports Centre whilst their children are swimming.
- Children over eight should use the correct changing rooms.
Lifeguards
It is inappropriate to distract lifeguards from doing their duties unless it is an emergency, as idle chat could cost somebody their life.Away Event Coaches
We regret that due to rising costs and lack of sponsorship, we will now have to start charging for all away event coach travel, the cost will be £1.00 per person traveling. This price has been set by the committee to help towards the cost of coach hire.Pool Swim Times
Can parents please ensure that their children are present on poolside for the start of their sessions this includes toilet time. Lateness is seriously disrupting the lessons and if you turn up late you might not get to swim as warm up time is needed for the swimmers.Many Thanks - Chris McKean (Chief Coach)
