Accrington - three wins in a row
Hyndburn Sports Centre
The home gala against Burnley saw Accrington winning their third gala in a row to make it three from four, and the second win this year against Burnley. Accrington won 64-55.
Another 35 PB's were set tonight by 23 different swimmers, making 38 swimmers in total to achieve PB's in this years galas.

Swimmers top of division Accrington Swimming Club swam their way to the top of the Friendly League Division Two with their third sucessive victory - an impressive 64-55 triumph at home to Burnley on 21 May. The second victory over the same opposition this season demonstrated the strides made by many of the clubs swimmers this year with a number of personal bests times broken. Chief Coach Chris McKean said a big thank you was due to all the supporters and helpers on the night for their continued commitment.

Accrington - 2 wins from 3
Hyndburn Sports Centre
The year's third gala saw Accrington beat Darwen 62-55.
After getting off to a good start winning the first 5 races, Accrington never surrendered their lead.
Although there were a couple of disqualifications (one for each side) both teams swam well.
45 personal best times were recorded by 28 swimmers
3 swimmers got 3 PB's - Kieron Higham, Joshua Bibby, and Sarah Luker and Alex Boulter got 4. Both this years team manager and gents team captain (Ric Swanney and Karl White) recorded new PB's.

Accrington were celebrating swimming sucess after they beat Darwen 62-55.
It was their first home gala this year and they chalked up a number of personal bests.
It shows how far they have come as they lost twice to Darwen last year.
The next gala is tonight at Hyndburn Sports centre against Burnley where they will be looking to make it three gala wins in a row.

The lerners race was held tonight, in which all swimmers who have learnt to sswim recently race over 25m.
