West Craven
Accrington were looking to build on our initial success after their win against Todmorden in May. The coach departed at 6:30 pm on Wednesday llth June 2008 to arrive for the warm up at 7:45 pm with the first race underway by 8:00 pm.This was the first time Accrington had swum against West Craven, so everyone was excited about swimming against an unknown squad. Unfortunately we lost this time 61-57, but we shall be looking forward to the re-match on home turf when the gala has been arranged for later in the summer.
A big well done to all our swimmers on the night for their total enthusiasm and commitment, and to the parents who volunteered to help on the night.
