Accrington lost a second gala to Burnley in a very close match.
With 1 race to go the score stood at 57 all.
Burnley won the final match giving a final score of 58 - 59.

Hyndburn Sports Centre
Pioneer 79 invited Accrington SC ,Gt Harwood (Otters) SC, Haslingden SC to their annual Shrimps Gala at Hyndburn Sports Centre on 08/02/08, for 8 and 9 year olds .
Accrington sent 5 swimmers in the 9 year old category. Although they are still only 8 years old their birthdays this year meant they must swim up.
All 5 swimmers swam all 4 disciplines each breaking their personal bests, out of a possible 20 PB's 19 were broken on the night. The swimmers came home with 3 medals Jasmine Scott 5th and 3rd, Matthew Anderson with a 4th, They were all a credit to themselves and they were good ambassadors for our club.

Sheffield International Pool
Karl White and Dave Henry swam for Lancashire tonight against Yorkshire, Cheshire and Northumbria.
Both swam in the relays and Karl also swam butterfly - recording 30sec in a race with first, second and third recording 26,27 and 29sec respectively#

2007 Club Championships
Two records fell in this years club championships.
Girls 12 and 13 yrs 100m Freestyle was won by Alexandra Mellor in 1.27.57 (Li San Tang also broke the previous record with 1.28.95)
Girls 14 and 15 yrs 50m Breaststroke was won by Olivia McKiernan in 43.66
In total 166 personal best times were recorded by 64 swimmers.
