There are 6 grades which can be achieved with these awards with 10 tests in each aware.
Grades 1,2 and 3 are a good foundation for the early swimmers and pupils with a disability
This scheme develops confidence and all round skills in watermanship, teaching pupils how and why they move in water.
Eventually skills required in competitive swimming are intorduced and these are a good basis and also adds interest to swimming lessons.
