Our story

Accrington's club since 1911

Over a century of volunteers, personal bests and Monday nights at the pool - this is who we are.

Family-orientated, volunteer-run

We're a community club through and through. Every session is run by volunteers, our operations follow Swim England's Stronger Affiliation, and we race proudly in the local town galas.

Today we have over 100 members aged 5 to over 60, swimming twice a week at Hyndburn Leisure Centre - from complete non-swimmers to our gala squad, plus a dedicated Adult group for experienced older swimmers.

Whatever your ability, there's a lane here for you.

The people who make it happen

Without these volunteers - and many more before them - Accrington Swimming Club simply wouldn't exist.
